This Privacy Policy explains how Richard Torno, operator of My Auto Advise (“My Auto Advise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit https://myautoadvise.com/ (the “Website”), contact us, purchase services, or otherwise interact with us.

By using the Website or providing personal information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

Information You Provide

We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number, state of residence, and preferred method of contact;

  • Information submitted through Wix contact forms, email, telephone calls, or other communications;

  • Vehicle information, such as year, make, model, mileage, vehicle identification number (VIN), license-plate information, reported symptoms, and repair or maintenance history;

  • Repair estimates, invoices, photographs, service records, warranty information, and related documents you choose to provide;

  • Information concerning your requested consultation or repair-estimate review;

  • Transaction details, such as the service purchased, amount paid, payment status, and transaction date;

  • Electronic-signature records and information contained in agreements processed through Dropbox Sign; and

  • Any other information you choose to include in a message, document, or submission.

Please remove or obscure information that we do not need before submitting documents. Do not send Social Security numbers, complete payment-card numbers, bank-account credentials, driver's-license numbers, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive information through a contact form or ordinary email.

If you provide personal information concerning another person, you represent that you have permission or another lawful basis to provide it to us.

Payment Information​

Payments are processed using Wix Payments and its payment-processing partners. My Auto Advise generally does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number or card security code. Payment providers may collect your name, billing address, payment-card information, device information, and other information needed to process and secure the transaction. Their handling of that information is also governed by their own privacy terms.

When you visit the Website, Wix and its service providers may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Approximate location derived from an IP address;

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

  • Wix and related providers: for Website hosting, contact forms, customer-management tools, analytics, communications, security, fraud prevention, and payment processing;

  • Dropbox Sign: to prepare, send, electronically sign, authenticate, and maintain service agreements and related audit records;

  • Technology and communications providers: such as email, cloud-storage, cybersecurity, technical-support, and telecommunications providers;

  • Professional advisers: including attorneys, accountants, tax professionals, insurers, and other advisers who assist with legitimate business or legal matters;

My Auto Advise does not disclose your repair estimate or vehicle information to a repair facility on your behalf unless you request or authorize that communication.

Wix and Dropbox Sign

The Website, contact forms, customer-management features, analytics, and payment functions are provided through Wix. Wix may process personal information as our service provider and, in some circumstances, for its own purposes as described in the Wix Privacy Policy.

Electronic service agreements are processed through Dropbox Sign. Dropbox Sign may collect information including names, email addresses, electronic signatures, IP addresses, device information, document activity, authentication information, and audit-trail records. Its practices are described in the Dropbox Sign Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Similar Technologies​

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some cookies are necessary for Website operation, security, contact forms, payment functions, and user preferences. Other cookies may help measure traffic and understand how visitors interact with the Website.

Where required, the Website will request your consent before using nonessential cookies. You can use the Website's cookie controls, when available, or adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Disabling certain cookies may affect Website functionality.

My Auto Advise does not currently use personal information collected through the Website for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. If we later add advertising technologies such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads, or TikTok Pixel, we will update this Privacy Policy and any applicable cookie-consent options before using those technologies.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, the Website may not respond to them uniformly. Where required by applicable law and supported by our systems, we will honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals.​

You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We may request proof of the agent's authority and may still need to verify your identity directly. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

These rights are not absolute. We may deny or limit a request when permitted by law, including when information must be retained for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, completion of a transaction, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.

Nevada Privacy Rights

Nevada residents may submit a verified request directing us not to make a “sale” of covered information as that term is defined under Nevada law. My Auto Advise does not currently sell covered information for monetary consideration. Nevada residents may nevertheless submit an opt-out request by emailing myautoadvise@gmail.com with the subject line Nevada Privacy Request.

Marketing Communications

If you choose to receive promotional emails from us, you may unsubscribe by using the link provided in the message or by contacting us. Even after opting out of marketing, you may still receive nonpromotional communications concerning an inquiry, transaction, agreement, service, security issue, or legal notice.

We will not enroll you in promotional email marketing merely because you submitted a request for consulting services unless you separately consent or applicable law permits it.

Children's Privacy

The Website and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
